UST Global Appoints CFO
|
|
|
ALISO VIEJO, Calif. – June 30, 2008 – UST GlobalSM, a leading provider
of IT services and solutions for Global 2000 enterprises, announced today that it
has appointed Krishna Sudheendra as chief financial officer (CFO). In addition to
managing the finance organization, he will be responsible for investor relations,
corporate governance and ensuring a balance between growth, profitability and long-term
shareholder value. The areas he will focus on range from strengthening compliance
and processes in line with Sarbanes Oxley, adapting corporate governance practices,
implementing enterprise-wide value based accounting, rolling out a global employee
stock option program to evaluating large deals, joint ventures and mergers and acquisitions.
Most recently, Sudheendra served as director of finance for UST.
"In his career, Krishna has demonstrated a very impressive results-driven commitment
to solving the financial challenges enterprises face," said Sajan Pillai, chief
executive officer, UST Global. "Throughout the five years he has been with UST Global,
Krishna has made significant contributions to our success. Six months after joining
UST, he significantly improved the company’s profitability and obtained short-term
and long-term strategic funding. His solid experience in treasury management and
building financial systems, processes and controls in the IT services industry are
a great foundation for his new role as CFO."
Sudheendra has more than 15 years in financial management and has spent most of
his career in services outsourcing. He began his career doing auditing and consulting
with Ernst & Young, then served in financial leadership positions in the IT and
services space including setting up financial systems, processes and reporting for
an R&D center for GE. Before joining UST, he was the global controller of First
Apex, a niche IT product and services provider for the insurance industry.
He holds a bachelors degree in commerce from Bangalore University in India and earned
his CPA in Denver, Colorado. Sudheendra is a member of the Institute of Chartered
Accountants of India.
